Copper Steam Hydro-Distillation: The Heritage Alchemy of Pure Rose Water
"Unveiling our heritage copper alembic distillation process that captures 100% steam distillate with natural aromatic terpene profiles and therapeutic volatile oils intact."
The Traditional Deg-Bhapka Steam Alembic Technique
Modern commercial rose waters are all too often synthetic chemical concoctions: municipal water infused with synthetic fragrance oils and chemical solubilizers. At Shyam Chemicals, the creation of Risha Pure Gulab Jal honors the timeless traditions of the ancient perfume capital of Kannauj.
We harvest fresh, dew-kissed petals of Rosa damascena in the early morning hours before sunlight evaporates their precious volatile terpene oils. These petals are immediately transferred to pure copper stills (deg), sealed with traditional clay seals, and subjected to slow, low-temperature wood-fired hydro-distillation.
Therapeutic Profile of Steam Distillate
Because copper conducts heat with unmatched uniformity, every drop of condensing hydrosol carries the delicate phenylethyl alcohol, geraniol, and citronellol compounds natively found in fresh rose petals.
The result is a crystalline botanical hydrosol that tones the skin, regulates sebum production, and relieves puffiness and fatigue with zero artificial alcohol or preservatives.
